Source Inspection (Mechanical) - Aerospace - Oklahoma City, OK    (Contract - 20-30 hours per week)

Trigo Global Quality Solutions is looking for a detailed and experienced Source Inspector to conduct inspections of aerospace parts and components at supplier and/or customer manufacturing sites. 


Oklahoma City, OK 

In this role, you will: 

  • Verify completed product to purchase order, drawing and associated specifications.
  • You must have the ability to adequately inspect Aerospace level mechanical components and assemblies including welded and machined parts for compliance with industry and LM specifications.
  • Knowledge of standard inspection tools to include CMMs is required.
  • Previous machine shop experience, final inspections and Aerospace products. 


  • Conduct Source Inspection, including in-process, first-article, and final inspection, of mechanical/machined components and parts at the manufacturer against customer Purchase Order, Drawings, Quality Requirements, and other flow-down
  • Review supplier ATP, CofC, FAI reports and other documentation to ensure compliance
  • Complete inspection reports and documentation in accordance to Customer specifications
  • Notify supplier and customer of rejections, providing reasons and objective evidence
  • Interface directly with suppliers and customers 

Qualifications and Experience: 

  • Hands-on inspection experience and ability to use basic inspection equipment (e.g. calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.) a must
  • Understanding of engineering, drawings, and GD&T a must
  • Knowledge of FAI
  • Experience and ability to work in a Machine Shop
  • You must have the ability to review special processing certifications for accuracy and completeness
  • Minimum 5+ years Aerospace inspection experience
  • Minimum 3+ years inspecting aeronautic metallic parts (mechanical parts/assembly)
  • Experience in production, quality management, and logistics
  • Understanding and experience in AS 9100 and AS9102
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal required (English)
  • Metal fabrication / machining experience 

Other Qualifications: 

  • MS Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Computer proficiency is required
  • Requires use of personal computer
  • Team-minded, communicative, being proactive, stress resistant, assertiveness
