Quality Technicians/Inspectors

(Full Time: Contract)


The Quality Technicians/Inspectors are responsible for completing daily inspections on defined product. Following defined work instructions, Technicians/Inspectors will be required to perform various product inspections at various machining and assembly production steps (both visual and with gages). Reporting of data and communication of findings will be required daily. This contract ranges from 1-3 months but could go


  • Use multiple auditing methods such as visual, measurements by gap, torque, shift (paper), line audits or other means.
  • Knowledge and use of inside / outside micrometers, calipers, height gages, and other hand applied gages required.
  • Must be skilled in GD&T
  • Running CMM will set you ahead of the pack
  • Use check sheets or other methods to verify requirements
  • Keep accurate and legible inspection and audit documentation required.
  • Report daily findings to proper personnel.
  • Other duties as assigned. 


  • Gage Experience is a must
  • GD&T Expereince
  • Knowledge of Pachined Parts (Gears would be an asset but not required)
  • Running a CMM will set you apart
  • HS diploma or equivalent desired
  • Excellent attention to detail essential
  • Must be able to work independently
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions
  • Excellent verbal and written skills required
  • Ability to coordinate, prioritize and multitask
  • Ability to take initiative and recognize needs
  • Demonstrated flexibility within a fast-paced challenging environment
  • Prior knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems and ISO 9001 procedures preferred 
  • Automotive/Manufacturing/Quality experience preferred
  • Auditing Experience is a plus
